Guilherme Paulus is an international entrepreneur who is the head of the board of advisors for CVC Brasil as well as GJP Hotels and Resorts.

Paulus has been working as a hotelier for many years and started out his working life serving with IBM. Today, he oversees more than 20 resorts and hotels located all over Brazil and is in charge of more than 5,000 employees.

Guilherme Paulus brings ideas to life by taking big chances and jumping headfirst into the unknown. He believes that taking action is what is important because any idea can fail or succeed. Those who don’t take a chance, in the first place, are the ones who will never know what could have been. In an interview, Paulus revealed that the original idea for CVC came from his, longtime, business partner Carlos Vicente Cerchiari. He had met Cerchiari when he was younger and an agreement was made between the two of them to startup the travel company. Cerchiari eventually moved on, and Paulus has been running the business ever since.
