Andy Wirth is Elected as Chairman of Reno-Tahoe

Andy Wirth is the current CEO and President of the Squaw Valley Ski Holdings. His tireless work has placed Ski area at the top of the list as one of the best tourist destinations in the whole world. Andy is also the co-founder of an iron team called “Wounded Warrior Support,” which he created after his near-fatal skydiving accident. The team raises funds to support the Navy SEAL Foundation- an organization that caters to the special operations team members together with their families when they come back home.

His appointment as chairman of Reno-Tahoe

On January 12, 2016, Andy Wirth was named Chairman and President of Reno-Tahoe Regional Air Service Corporation. RASC promotes air service into the Reno-Tahoe International Airport. It is also responsible for continually identifying new odds for additional flights. Andy is also the chairman of the Board of Trustees at the Reno- Tahoe Airport Authority. The board constitutes the local hotel-casino properties as well as tourism entities including Reno, North Lake Tahoe and South Lake Tahoe.

In a statement, Andy expressed his excitement to represent RSCVA and serve as Chair to an entity that is important to the regional economy. He believes that the landscape of the region, comprising of the greater Reno-Sparks area as well as the whole of Lake Tahoe is full of opportunity and that the air service is and will always be one of the primary elements of the area’s growing and thriving economy. Andy has been a central figure when it comes to the development of air service and airports for major resorts and neighborhoods from Colorado to Quebec.

His community work

Apart from working with different airlines, Andy Wirth is also keen on contributing to the environment and community service in the Lake Tahoe region. He is generally focused on improving the area for individuals of all ages. Immediately he moved to town; Andy began his involvement with the community by supporting big foundations and nonprofits like the High Fives Foundation and Disabled Sports USA. He has been recognized with awards by the two foundations for his partnership and community service.

  1. Management has been seen as important to me in whatever field of life and I think there is need to have a god manager in whatever business. The result in assignment writing is really encouraging and there are indications that perhaps the business will improve experience. there is the good part in looking for the best solutions in already existing businesses but I think communities can use the idea of crowd management to their advantage.
